Assumption students in the University’s new finance major now have access to a cutting-edge trading room. The Lagarce Trading Room features state-of-the- art Bloomberg Terminal software, allowing students hands-on learning as part of their studies.

Daniel J. McKee ’73 Sworn in as Rhode Island’s Governor

When Daniel J. McKee ‘73 was sworn in as Rhode Island’s 76th governor this spring, his decades of public service and liberal arts education had him well prepared for the task. He’s used the skills developed over the years, including from his time at Assumption, to understand the priorities of keeping people safe.
