Bernard F. Gaughan, 80, passed away on November 9 after a brief battle with cancer. A Clinton native, Coach Gaughan was a respected member of the Assumption College football coaching staff for more than 20 years, helping to transform the program from a club to a varsity sport.

Peter F. Toscano, Jr., Ph.D., retired associate professor of psychology who taught at the institution for 40 years, passed away on January 21. Dr. Toscano began teaching at Assumption in 1975 as an adjunct professor in the graduate psychology program and was appointed as a full-time faculty member.
