Few can claim that they served as editor of Assumption’s student newspaper Le Provocateur and in the same role for a major daily newspaper. After two decades of working his way up through the print news ranks, David Nordman ’96 was named executive editor of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.
In response to the ever-changing demographics of the student body, Assumption has announced the creation of a new position, vice president for student success, which will focus on student achievement in all of its dimensions across Assumption’s many departments and divisions. Conway Campbell, Sr., Ph.D., has been appointed as VP.

This summer, Assumption will say goodbye to two longtime administrators, Provost and Academic Vice President Louise Carroll Keeley, Ph.D., and Vice President for Student Affairs Catherine WoodBrooks, Ph.D., who will retire at the end of the academic year.
