The Daniel Patrick Moynihan Center for Scholarship and Statesmanship at Assumption recently launched the Moynihan Model Senate Project. With this, Students simulate historical and contemporary Senate debates, a goal of learning about the nature of statesmanship and the distinct function of the United States Senate in our constitutional republic.
Enhancing its new undergraduate program in cybersecurity, Assumption has been named an official member of the National Cybersecurity Training and Education Center. Students and faculty are provided access to a range of resources and curriculum to complement the program, in addition to an extensive network of institutions, business and governments.
Assumption’s accounting program in the Grenon School of Business has earned endorsement by the Institute of Management Accountants, an international association focused on advancing the management accounting profession. Assumption is one of three colleges in New England with the endorsement. The endorsement signifies a rigorous but successful accounting program.
Assumption and The Institute of World Politics have partnered to offer students an undergraduate degree from Assumption and a Master of Arts from IWP in the areas of international affairs, national security, and intelligence. The program is dedicated for students to become leaders in a chosen field and experts.
