The University announced that James Krukones and Jon Weaver were recently elected to the Board of Trustees, with appreciation to former members. In addition to the fiduciary responsibility of upholding and advancing the mission of the University, Trustees make meaningful contributions through their overall governance of the institution.
To meet the growing need for professionals trained to work with and advocate for individuals who require special education services, Assumption has launched the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Special Education. The program allows graduate students to receive a CAGS in ASD, preparing them with the skills needed.
In an effort to meet the increasing demand for skilled finance professionals across the globe, Assumption is now offering a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. The new major provides training for those interested in a career in the financial service industry, enhanced by a newly built trading room.
Citing his innovative leadership during a challenging period for higher education, the expansion of academic programs and facilities, and successful fundraising, the Board of Trustees voted to renew the contract of the President. The University has thrived under the President’s leadership and has impacted the world in a meaningful way.
