Amid the pandemic, the Alumni Relations Office has produced a variety of virtual programming that provides alumni with ample opportunities to connect, including Virtual Reunion 2020. From webinars and panels to live performances and trivia on social media, there are plenty of ways to stay connected to the Greyhound community.
This fall, Assumption announced the naming of the D’Amour College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Froelich School of Nursing, for generous alumni whose recent gifts in support of these schools and academic programs will help further the University’s mission and expand academic opportunities for students in these schools.
On June 10, Assumption became a University; a celebration of the institution’s evolution and vision, as well as and the comprehensive nature of its academic offerings, its campus in Rome, and the growth of the number of graduate programs. Brianna Murphy, vice principal and history teacher at AMSA has embraced the storied author’s guidance. Murphy’s career in education blossomed from her desire to keep learning and came to Assumption because of the liberal arts experience and the variety of perspectives provided by such an education.
