Assumption Names New Schools

This fall, Assumption announced the naming of the D’Amour College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Froelich School of Nursing, for generous alumni whose recent gifts in support of these schools and academic programs will help further the University’s mission and expand academic opportunities for students in these schools.

Brianna Murphy, vice principal and history teacher at AMSA has embraced the storied author’s guidance. Murphy’s career in education blossomed from her desire to keep learning and came to Assumption because of the liberal arts experience and the variety of perspectives provided by such an education.
