Grant Provides Students with Real-World Opportunities

When Assumption’s Rehabilitation Counseling program was awarded a five-year, $1,000,000 long-term training grant in 2015 from the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), the institution embarked on developing one of the best programs in the country. This grant supports scholarships and provides funds for leadership, technical assistance, increased enrollment, and student visibility.

For the second consecutive term of leadership, an Assumption professor will serve as president of the Worcester chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA). The AIA aims to support archaeologists in their research and practice, and to educate as many as possible about the importance of archaeological discovery.
