Brian Alloway joined the Marines after high school because he wanted to do something valuable with his time. After eight years and deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, he left active duty and decided to use his GI Bill to further his education, ultimately choosing Assumption to finish school.
Assumption’s 2018 observance of Veterans Day included a ceremony held in the Don and Michele D’Amour Plaza of the Tsotsis Family Academic Center featuring Retired Air Force Colonel Christina Stevens ’85 who delivered the keynote speech, sharing a reminder of the purpose of Veterans Day.
