John Rodriguez ’97, G’09 experienced Assumption unlike many other students. One of 11 children, his family sustained itself on a paycheck he earned from his part-time job and his mother’s welfare check. A chance encounter with Brother Robert Beaulac, A.A., changed the course of his future.
Fr. Paul Vaudreuil, A.A., 81, passed away on July 6. For many years, Fr. Vaudreuil was a fixture on the Assumption campus, a graduate of Assumption Prep and Assumption College.
Catherine Pastille, Ph.D., 61, passed away on June 25 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Pastille served as an assistant professor of management in the Department of Business Studies since 2012.
Francis McKone, 85, passed away on September 13. Throughout his life, he was a passionate advocate for education, serving on and for many boards and organizations, including the Assumption Board of Trustees from 2006–09.
