George F. Aubin, Sr., Ph.D. ’60, G’62 (1939-2020)

George Aubin, a long-time professor and professor emeritus at Assumption, passed away on April 23. He retired from Assumption in 2006, where he taught French, linguistics, and American Indian studies for more than 43 years. He served as chair of the French Department and on many committees as well.

Sr. Ellen Guerin, RSM (1934-2020)

Sr. Ellen Guerin passed away on June 23. She was a Sister of Mercy for 67 years, serving several years as a faculty member in the Department of Theology until appointed dean of undergraduate studies. She returned to teach theology part time until she reached her retirement.
