The Assumption Board of Trustees recently elected five new members including Suzanne Besnia, Micheál Kelly, Vincent Laclerq, Christine Marcks, and Stephen Skoly. Members of the board have a fiduciary responsibility to uphold and advance the mission of Assumption while providing governance of the institution as well.

After recognizing the emerging dangers of vaping from extensive research, Assumption made the decision to become a vape-free campus in April 2019. The well-being of students is a priority, as the institution is a community committed to the health of all. The policy is effective June 1, 2019.

David Grenon had some interesting advice for the business students during his remarks of the October 21 Grenon School of Business unveiling. The School is one of the first of Assumption’s five schools to be named. For a successful business, Grenon says you must have long-term relationships.
