Aspiring to Do More

Leslie Lupien developed a passion for science at a young age. Her passion grew as a student and continued as a Ph.D. candidate studying cancer metabolism in the Experimental and Molecular Medicine Program at Dartmouth College. Lupien played basketball for Assumption and is a semiprofessional cyclist and model for Velocio.

Students Apply Biology Concepts to Address Food Insecurities

Last fall, 31 Assumption students enrolled in BIO160. The concepts learned in the class taught practical and valuable skills through hands-on experience working with Community Harvest Project, a nonprofit that grows and donates produce to those struggling. The class also teaches sustainable practices and basic human rights.

Lessons in Love and Resiliency

Lessons in Love and Resiliency

Lilliam Alonso Miller learned more than just numbers at Assumption. She learned the virtue of compassion. She and her husband provided critical relief for neighbors when Hurricanes Maria and Irma devasted the Caribbean last fall. They delivered food, water and other provisions to neighboring islands that took serious damage.
