In only a few months, the Tsotsis Family Academic Center has already transformed teaching and learning at Assumption. Our vision of the building has been realized, one that encourages creative thinking, the sharing of ideas, and collaboration across a broad spectrum of academic disciplines, reflecting Assumption’s deep devotion to the liberal arts, its integration with professional programs, and the Catholic intellectual tradition.
In each issue of Assumption Magazine, the This Is Us feature is used to highlight aspects of the Assumption experience that makes it unique, including the success of academics, student life, or athletics. Assumption’s football team celebrated 50 years on October 21, dominating New Haven 41–6. It was a special celebration for more than 150 members of past Assumption football teams, including several from the original squad, when they were honored on the field at halftime.
